Before Visiting
- Dress Code: Visitors must wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees as a sign of respect when entering temple grounds.
- Angkor Pass: A one-day Angkor Pass costs $37 per person and is required for entry. Purchase it at the official ticket center before the tour.
- Comfortable Footwear: Expect to walk a lot, so comfortable shoes are highly recommended.
- Weather Considerations: Cambodia can be hot and humid; wear a hat, apply sunscreen, and bring sunglasses.
- Cash & Essentials: Bring cash for meals, souvenirs, and personal expenses, as some local vendors may not accept credit cards.
- Photography: Drones are not allowed in the Angkor complex. Tripods are permitted but may require special permission at some sites.
- Temple Etiquette: Refrain from touching carvings, climbing on structures, or speaking loudly within temple areas.
